These 37 seeds weighed 7.53 gr. These crossed seeds were more numerous than those naturally crossed, no doubt owing to bush having borne so few.

Spontaneously self-fertilised whole large plant produced altogether 93 pods, (besides artificially fertilised) these included 273 seeds, giving average of 2.93 seeds per pod.—
