In autumn castrated 4 flowers of Sw Pea, & twice over impregnated each with pollen of own kind, 2 shanked off / 1 made small pod with 1 almost perfect seed & 2 very imperfect / 4th set pod with 2 apparently good seed, instead of 7 or 9 as natural Pods had.
