50. Ipomœa. 1st. gen: "Crossed seeds rather heavier than self-f."

51. ― 1st gen: crossed plants: 100 crossed seeds from crossed plants spont. fert weighed 36.79 gr. — when 100 from s. f. pl. spont. fert. weight 41.64 gr. Productiveness of plants as 100 : 45.

53 ― 3d gen. Full details of weight.

76 ― cross between 2 flowers on same plant increased no of seeds per capsule as 100 to 91 but these strictly sel seeds were lighter than the fewer strictly s. f. seeds in ratio of 86 to 100.

175. Salvia coccinea. as = no of crossed & self-fert seed of = Weight.

186 Brassica — seeds crossed to s.f. in number as 100 to 25; the latter in weight as 3.88 to 3.76

197 Iberis self-fert seed to supposed crossed seeds (by smearing heads) to s.f. seeds as 4.87 : 3.57
