(Phaseolus [illeg] flowers (tall scarlet runner) 1867
Only 2 crossed self-fertilised flowers set producing (all that was done was moving wing petals occasionally, & this was done to at least a dozen) & they produced 2 & 4 seeds.
Five crossed flowers set & produced 15 seed.
