Intercalary

(1)  ornithorhynchus any amphibian affinities?  (not strictly more than all lower animals.—

(2)  Old Batrachians  or amphibians  in any degree intercalary with Reptilia— Huxley thinks not.

(Selachians are known to have reptilian affinities C.D)

(3) What Fishes are most Reptilian
