N. British Review 1867. p. 359 "The Nat. Hist. of Morals" The author of all article starts with the family being solitary, I greatly doubt this ever would occur - though families squandered living for long periods solitary

p 395 remarks that small tribes cd not exist without some fidelity to each other & not destroying each other &c & such [ruins] are therefore "branded with everlasting infamy"- In large tribes or nation there will be room for various kinds of variation, a timid, though very cunning man might be highly useful - Local virtues, ethical system & religions due to best being preserved [through] natural selection. (Not much in Review for me)
