p 105 Huxley says that the skulls of many south Germans & Swiss are "as short & as broad as those of the Tartars, while those of the Scandinavians are as long as those of the Esquimaux."

p 169 Prof. Broca say "the quabernary race of les Eyzies differs from the quat. race of the caverns of Belgium as much as the most dissimilar modern races."

p 171 The skulls have large capacity; superior to the average skull of the present day.

172 This race presents a most singular combination of low or simious & high characteristics, the latter in accordance with their works of art

175 He concludes by saying "that the race of les Eyzies
