Came to Cambridge with ED for the winters; "soothing and tranquil rather than exciting company, as tranquil as the horses he drove", "John's kingdom was the harness room and his carriage whips were magic wands" B. Feb 12th 62 John tells me that Horses when fighting bite each other's necks. He has seen horses which got home in stable badly wounded & bore the marks all their lives. Have stallions fuller manes?
