It appears from this Book that males sometimes larger than females - canines more developed in Cercopithecus in males than females - Baboons differ in many respects

Both males & females of a [illeg] of genera have large whiskers passing into a mane or ruff of long Hairs - if Lions' of use theirs of use. - Both m & f. are brightly & conspicuously coloured. And in Baboons the males more brightly coloured - Begins with case of Baboon.
