Lampornis - tail more diversified with 3 zones of colour & tipped with white & banded in ♀ & but not more brilliant than that of male young males resemble adult females.

Juan Fernandez H. Birds Both sexes have splendid metallic cap on Head green in one, golden red in ♂; & both are very beautiful; ♀ much more diversified than ♂

The young specimen showed gradation leading to both adult states plainly—
