After considerably enquiring I can find no group of considerable size, in which the sexes are brightly coloured & both alike except the Plantain-eaters or Musophagæ - in which this does occur it does not hold good with Capitonidæ or Toucans.

Mergus merganser the male more highly coloured than female.
