In all the Heron tribe many ornaments plumes & fimbriated feathers, I believe not sexual –

Nycticorax griseus - night-heron, with long single shaft to back of head not only ♂ of Bernicla antarctica almost snow white, but the male of Chloephaga magellanica much whiter than ♀ - good contrast with black ducks.
