May 1861- We shall see that organs have been formed Objection that with Quadrumana it is doubtful whether vocal organs are sexual for charm through sexual selection for producing sound - in isolated groups & it is possible that the progenitors of man either on male or female sides may have had his own vocal organs developed for this purpose, & those wd argue with deep emotions of all kinds with which music is not produced - Are there not isolated songsters? not Birds - {great divergence in male with secondary sexual characters
