p. 53 The negros railed Park on the whiteness of his skin & prominence of his nose & they considered both as "unsightly & unnatural confirmations" He in return "praised the glossy jet of their skins & the lovely depression of their noses" but they said that this was "honey-mouth" yet they presented him with honey & fish.
