Supra-condyloid Foramen
p. 310
Mr M. says "is only present in the Anthropodea (this includes all except Lemuridae) in Cebus & other American forms — is present in all Lemuridae except Arctocebus.
Therefore I must add that the presence of the foramen in a nearly perfect condition in man can only very doubtfully be attributed to reversion, seeing that it is present only in forms which represent the extremely remote progenitors of man.

(There is another foramen in the humerus, which may be called the inter-condyloid; & this occurs in various genera of Anthropoid & other apes,* 38 & occasionally is present in man. It is remarkable that this foramen seems to have been much more frequently present during ancient & then during recent times.
