TRAVERSTON, WEST ROAD, CAMBRIDGE.

Dear Mr Shipley.

I am afraid I have very little to lend for the Darwin Centenary, as most of the things which I possess are duplicates of what my brothers have and are [illeg].

I can lend as follows.

An enlarged photograph of my father taken by my brother Leonard framed.

A photograph of my mother taken by an amateur. very good likeness framed.

P. T. O.

[1v]

Some small pictures of Down framed. By Alfred Parsons. The originals were in the Century January 1883. They are engravings.

An etching of the study. But perhaps one of my brothers has offered to lend this.

This is all I can think of at present, but If anything else should occur to me I will write again.

Yours sincerely

E Darwin
