Katherine Elizabeth Sophia Wedgwood was the second daughter of Josiah Wedgwood (1795-1880) and Caroline Sarah Darwin (1800-1888). Sister of Margaret Susan Vaughan Williams.

I still feel reluctant to risk the journey for the small chalk drawing of Mr. Darwin as a child— as it is a special material which will not bear much shaking. It is by Sharples—

I will write again definitely before long—
