London- Sept- 30t

Dear Prof Simpson,

Mr Adams & I today went down to Darwin's House (Down House) and had the pleasure of spending the afternoon there—

We thought of you when looking at the places & things so intimately connected with the life of this great naturalist. Among them Darwin's study— now just as it was in his life time was of special interest and I am sending you a photo of it.

We sail for home the day after to-morrow—

yours very sincerely

Frank D. Adams
