Dear Sir

I have received from Mr W. E. Darwin an order for a replica of the bronze miniature that I made for you, now at Christ College. Will you be kind enough to return it to me, to be used as guidance for the founder.

I shall send it back to you in about a fortnights time. No harm will come to it. You will have the same returned —

Small cases can generally be obtained at Italian warehouses.

With apologies for troubling you

yours very truly

Horace Montford.

A. E. Shipley Esq.

Have you received two photos sent by my wife in error to Trinity College?
