Sir, we have forwarded to you today in case a large framed Portrait of Darwin by John Collier by desire of Mr. B. D. Jackson, of the Linnean Society

I may also mention that we have insured same in transit & to cover up to the

We take it the sum will be done whilst at Cambridge & on its return journey & I was also to add to ask you to be good enough to have the case with the picture when returned to London to address it to us as on other side & not direct to the Society we should be glad to hear of it safe arrival
