DEAR SIR,
In accordance with the reply received from you to the Vice-Chancellor's invitation to the Darwin Celebration, I have pleasure in informing you that a ticket for the Banquet on June 23 has been reserved for your use. In order to avoid the necessity of collecting the amount charged for the tickets at a later date, I shall be obliged if you will kindly send me the sum of £1. 1s., on receipt of which a ticket will be sent to you at once. If I do not hear from you before May 15 I shall assume that you do not wish to attend the Banquet. Cheques should be made payable to me or the Hon. Secretaries, Darwin Celebration, and addressed to the Botany School.
