The Collier portrait of Darwin so kindly lent for exhibition by the Council of the Linnean Society reached here safely this afternoon and Mr Shipley has asked me to notify you of its arrival.

May I take this opportunity of making another

request in connection with the exhibition? Mr William Darwin is lending the medals presented to his father and I would like, if possible, to round off the collection with a replica of the Darwin-Wallace Commemoration medal. Am I Is it too late to ask for one of these and for a copy of the published proceedings of the Commemoration meeting?
