A. E. Shipley Esq.

Christ's College

Cambridge

My dear Shipley,

Would you be so kind as to lend us two of your pictures for our Darwin Exhibition? The ones I should like to borrow are Nos 129 and 130 of the Cambridge Catalogue. Do you think you could spare for the Museum a copy of the Catalogue itself? If you like to enclose a bill for it I will see that it is paid.

I am going to write to J. C. Simpson, to ask him if he could arrange to have all the specimens I have borrowed out direct to the Museum when your Exhibition closes. I have promises from several members of the Darwin family.

We shall probably remain open for some months.

yours sincerely

S. F. Harmer
