Dear Mr. Shipley,

In answer to your circular letter. I write to say that I shall be happy to lend you for the Darwin Centenary celebration my bound volume of Darwin's letters to my father (originals) and my copy of the second Edition of the Voyage. I know of nothing else in my possession which would be likely to help you, but if I find anything else, I will let you know.

Yours very truly,

John Murray

To A. E. Shipley Esq.,
